Learning Journey Publications Pty Ltd, ABN 79 130 415 315 has been trading under the name of The Play Space since September 2008.

The Play Space is an educational and bilingual book and games retailer. Our shop is located at 861 New Canterbury Rd, Dulwich Hill /Hurlstone Park border where we also have a coffee shop and miniature painting facilities.         

We sell directly to schools and specialize in teaching resources, learning materials as well as foreigh language and bilingual books, dictionaries, CD's, DVD's and CD Roms. 

We are members of the Australian Booksellers Association.

Our aim is to provide the best quality books and games with an emphasis on original materials and products produced in Australia.

We sell educational, giant sports and team games suitable for schools, corporate and private use for all age groups.

The Play Space learning materials and reading books cater for early learners, primary and high school students, pre-school and school teachers and tutors and are suitable for classroom use.

Our games cater for all ages.

We also sell Games workshop products with Warhammer and Warhammer 40K and Lord of the Rings sets and accessories. Why sell these at an educational store? Simply because these activities nurture creativity and problem solving, are more interactive than playing alone on the computer for hours on end. In fact on we offer Games Workshop parties where children can learn how to assemble and paint miniatures. An instructor is available to teach how to play the game and we bring along our own battle-board.

The Play Space is run by experienced teachers who are  familiar with educational and learning materials and the role of toys and play in children’s development.
